Restaurant Marketer & Innovator Awards winners revealed: The winners of this year’s Restaurant Marketer & Innovator Awards, staged by Propel and Think Hospitality, have been revealed. The winners were recognised for their success in marketing and innovation in the foodservice sector at an awards ceremony this evening (Wednesday, 21 January) at Incipio Group’s Pergola on the Wharf in London’s Canary Wharf which saw more than 300 attendees. The winners were Best New /Improved Visual Identity: Brewhouse & Kitchen; Campaign of the Year: Greene King Pubs; Best Digital Engagement: Lucky Saint; Best New Product Development: Candid Hospitality; Best Use of Technology: Cow & Sow; Best Community/Charity Initiative: The Big Table Group; Best New Website: The Alchemist Bars & Restaurants; Launch Campaign of the Year: Cow & Sow; Best Use of AI: Popeyes UK; Best Use of Research, Insight or Data: The New World Trading Company; Agency of the Year: EDGEY; CIO/CTO of the Year: David Carey; Innovator of the Year: Markus Thesleff; Marketer of the Year: Sheri Williamson. Further highly commended awards went to TGI Fridays (Campaign of the Year), Hospitality Rides (Best Community/Charity Initiative) and Fleet Street (Agency of the Year). The judges were: Alan Armstrong (Space Man Marketing), Andy Shaw (WiseTiger), Annica Wainwright (2 Forks), Carey Benn (Guestwise), Claire Scullion (Menu Scientist), Dan Burns (Natural Selection Design), Deborah Jones (Proinsight), Glenda Barber (freelance marketing consultant), James Coldrey-Mobbs (hospitality marketing consultant), Katie Jenkins (KAM), Leon Colven (Trison), Luci Cunningham (125 Data & Insights), Maria Vanifatova (Meaningful Vision), Mark Bentley (HDI), Michael Ingemann (Think Hospitality), Michael Radley (Joli), Nick Liddle (Openr) and Stephen Fraser (Ogilvy). Restaurant Marketer & Innovator co-founder James Hacon said: “With a bumper year of exceptional entries, it was a particularly tough job for our panel of judges, but in the end, they whittled them down to find our very deserving winners, who represent the very best of marketing, innovation and development in our exciting sector. Congratulations to them all.” The awards rounded off the eighth Restaurant Marketer & Innovator European Summit. The three-day event featured more than 100 speakers offering a unique blend of senior marketers, business leaders and entrepreneurs and saw more than 800 attendees.
